Glen Trindle - Chicken Thief

Moberly Monitor Index (Moberly, Missouri)  didn't quite get their act together in reporting the arrest of Glen Trindle for the theft of 22 chickens in 1931.  On January 17 they reported ...

and on January 19 followed up with

On January 20 they retracted the report of the day before

and the next day went back to square one, this time skewing the name of his companion to read Howard Trindle rather than Howard Roberts.

Who is Glen Trindle?  He would have been born about 1908.

I haven't found him in any census records with any spelling of the last name.. I'm guessing his legal name is not Glen but something else, but what?

I love newspapers, they solve many problems.  But, they create new ones as well.

Edward P Trindle

Lincoln State Journal
28 Aug 1924

I have been unable to find Edward P. Trindle in Nebraska or anywhere else for that matter in any records except this newspaper article.

There is an Edmund Trindel found in Dawson, Nebraska in 1920, but Dawson is 303 miles west of Bignell and in 1930 the family is found further west in Idaho.  No middle initial is found in any of the records I've found for Edmund.  (Edmund is the son of Alexander Trindel and Eliza Colvin, grandson of Alexander Trindel and Margarethe Kastor)

Then there is Ed Trindle, son of Robert T Trindle and Margaret A.  He is last found in Catoosa, Georgia in 1910.

Edward L. Trindle bn 1870 in Missouri is last found in 1910 in Missouri.

All clues are welcome!

On 3rd Oct 1852 Hellen Trindell of Newport Kentucky married William Dunlap.  Hellen age 31 was born in Scotland.  William age 24 was born in Ireland.  Who is Hellen?  And what happened to Hellen and William.  I did not find them in the 1860 census.

Theron Trindle

The Great Register of Sutter County, California lists Theron Trindle in Yuba City in 1928.  Is this the same Theron Trindal, the son of Stephen Davis Trindal, who was living in Santa Cruz from about 1900 until his death in 1939.  If so who is Opal?  Theron in Santa Cruz was married to Hattie Robinson in 1900 and according to the 1930 census was still married.
If it is not the son of Stephen then who is he?  I haven't found any other Theron's in records and it is an unusual name.  It is interesting to note, however, that this record gives the Trindle spelling, whereas the 1930 census and most other records are Trindal.
